OUR PRACTICES
Every practice is rooted in the framework.
The PREVAIL Method™ is a sequenced pathway of seven living practices — each designed to form you spiritually, regulate your nervous system, and activate your leadership.
The PREVAIL Method™
Seven practices.
Three pillars.
One design.
Every practice within the PREVAIL Method™ lives within one of three foundational movements — Spiritual Formation, Nervous System Regulation, and Spiritual Leadership Development. Each essential to the others. Each building toward wholeness.
Pillar 01
Spiritual Formation
P · R
The root system of everything. Daily rhythms that train the heart and brain to remain attentive to God before engaging with what is urgent. This is the foundation — without it, everything else crumbles under pressure.
Presence
A guided morning rhythm designed to anchor your day in God before the noise begins. Rooted in the Daily Office framework, this practice integrates prayer, gratitude, a daily reading from Proverbs, silence, and reflective journaling.
Opening prayer · Gratitude practice · Daily Proverbs reading · Silence (5 min) · Reflective journaling · Closing intention
Morning stillness activates the parasympathetic nervous system, lowering cortisol and priming the prefrontal cortex for decision-making. Consistent morning practice rewires the brain's default mode network toward attentiveness rather than reactivity.
"Be still, and know that I am God."— Psalm 46:10
Renewal
A guided practice designed to cultivate spiritual maturity and emotional freedom. Rooted in daily Scripture and the framework of the Lord's Prayer, this rhythm leads you through surrender to God's will, forgiveness of others, and receiving God's forgiveness for yourself.
Scripture anchor · Lord's Prayer framework · Surrender practice · Forgiveness release · Receiving forgiveness · Integration prayer
Forgiveness practices reduce activity in the amygdala and release chronic stress held in the body. Studies show that intentional forgiveness lowers blood pressure, improves sleep, and restores healthy vagal tone — the nervous system's capacity for recovery.
"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy."— Exodus 20:8
Pillar 02
Nervous System Regulation
E · I
A regulated nervous system is the biological foundation of spiritual receptivity and high-capacity leadership. This pillar trains your body to support your calling through intentional, embodied practice — five expressions of Embodiment plus the stillness of Integration.
Embodiment I
A guided walking meditation designed to support emotional release, nervous system regulation, and spiritual alignment through movement. May integrate praise and worship, soaking music, or Scripture-based meditation while walking outdoors.
Opening intention · Walking in nature or indoor space · Worship/Scripture integration · Emotional processing through movement · Closing grounding
Motion-generated optic flow regulates the brain and calms the nervous system. Walking meditation combines bilateral stimulation with vagal activation, allowing stored emotion, stress, and tension to soften and release naturally.
"Be doers of the word, and not hearers only."— James 1:22
Embodiment II
A prayer-centered mat Pilates practice designed to deepen connection between spirit, soul, and body. Each session opens in prayer and is guided by worship music or intentional silence. Emphasis on core stability, pelvic floor strength, posture, and embodied awareness.
Opening prayer · Breath centering · Core activation sequence · Pilates flow with worship · Postural restoration · Closing prayer
Pilates activates the deep core stabilizers and diaphragm, which are directly connected to the vagus nerve. Slow, intentional movement builds interoceptive awareness — the ability to sense internal states — which is essential for emotional regulation.
"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit?"— 1 Corinthians 6:19
Embodiment III
A guided stretch and reset class designed to undo the effects of sitting and restore alignment. Begins with prayer and gratitude, then moves through restorative movements that support posture, mobility, and nervous system health.
Prayer & gratitude · Spinal mobility · Hip opening · Shoulder release · Brain-supportive movements · Closing reset
Prolonged sitting compresses the vagus nerve and reduces blood flow to the brain. Targeted stretching increases circulation, improves focus, and recalibrates stress responses by releasing tension stored in the fascia and connective tissue.
"He restores my soul."— Psalm 23:3
Embodiment IV
A nervous system training session designed to build neurological resilience, coordination, and adaptability. Rooted in a play-based state, this practice integrates brain-body drills using tennis balls, lacrosse balls, a mat, and a movement ladder.
Opening prayer · Visual processing drills · Balance challenges · Coordination exercises · Reaction time training · Playful integration
Neuroplasticity training expands the brain's capacity to adapt under stress. These drills strengthen the vestibular and visual systems, increasing focus, reaction speed, emotional regulation, and performance under pressure.
"A joyful heart is good medicine."— Proverbs 17:22
Embodiment V
A guided breathwork practice designed to align body, mind, and spirit through intentional breathing. Led by a certified breathwork instructor, each session integrates multiple breathing techniques to support nervous system regulation, emotional balance, and spiritual presence.
Centering breath · Activation breathwork · Regulation techniques · Emotional release · Integration breathing · Closing stillness
Breathwork directly modulates the autonomic nervous system. Extended exhales activate the parasympathetic response, reducing anxiety, improving clarity, and restoring calm. Breath is the fastest intervention for shifting physiological state.
"The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life."— Genesis 2:7
Integration
A weekly stillness and reflection practice designed to help you pause, absorb, and integrate what you are living and learning. Through guided stillness, gentle reflection, and intentional awareness, this practice supports nervous system regulation and deep restoration.
Settling breath · Body scan · Guided stillness · Reflective prompts · Insight integration · Closing anchor
Integration allows the nervous system to consolidate learning and experience. Stillness activates the default mode network, enabling insight, self-reflection, and neuroplastic change. Without integration, transformation remains incomplete.
"Be transformed by the renewal of your mind."— Romans 12:2
Pillar 03
Spiritual Leadership Development
V · A · L
Leaders who walk in spiritual authority, understand warfare, carry healing as a gift, and build with eternal perspective. This pillar activates the vision, authority, and legacy you were designed to carry — from the inside out.
Visioneering
A monthly practice of prayerful reflection and forward alignment helping you discern where God is leading, assess your true capacity, and move forward with clarity and accountability. Every third month extends into a 90-minute deep session.
Monthly reflection · Scripture anchoring · Capacity assessment · Visioneering filters · Discernment · Accountability commitments
Goal-oriented focus activates the reticular activating system (RAS), priming the brain to notice opportunities aligned with intention. Prayerful reflection integrates the prefrontal cortex with deeper limbic processing for wisdom-based decision-making.
"Where there is no vision, the people perish."— Proverbs 29:18
Authority
A monthly speaker series designed to help you step more fully into the authority God has already given you. Features faith-based leaders, wellness practitioners, fitness instructors, and entrepreneurs who steward their spirit, soul, and body with integrity.
Guest introduction · Teaching/conversation · Lived testimony · Biblical principles application · Q&A · Activation prayer
Coherence — the alignment of heart, mind, and body — creates a measurable electromagnetic field that influences presence and impact. Leaders operating from internal alignment experience greater clarity, resilience, and relational influence.
"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."— Matthew 6:33
Legacy
Our quarterly gathering — a space to integrate, embody, and envision your life with eternity in mind. Offered both online and in person, these retreats combine play, prayer, breakthrough work, and visioneering to help you step into the life you are called to build.
Community gathering · Play & nervous system activation · Deep integration work · Strategic clarity session · Micro-practices training · Covenant commitments
Executive function — the brain's capacity for planning, decision-making, and long-term thinking — is strengthened through practices that combine vision with embodiment. Play activates the creative networks essential for legacy-level thinking.
"A good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children."— Proverbs 13:22
